Talalla Retreat is a boutique hotel & resort overlooking an undiscovered beach of calm turquoise seas at the southern tip of Sri Lanka beside the village of Gandara, we have 32 spacious rooms located within small villas dotted around our four acre estate, just meters from the beach. Our accommodation has been elegantly designed and includes open air marble bathrooms, private patios and great views. Our retreat offers a 20m freshwater lap pool, a custom built yoga pavilion, spa facilities, a gourmet open-air restaurant and wireless broadband. Talalla is located near one of Sri Lanka's most consistent surfing beach breaks and we offer both private classes and great surfing packages. Talalla attracts international yoga teachers throughout the year who host retreats which available upon booking.

Talalla Retreat is a beach resort located on the southern tip of Sri Lanka between Matara and Tangalla. The distance from Colombo is about 180km. Currently all flights into Sri Lanka land at Colombo airport, one hour north of Colombo city. You may choose to to drive directly to the resort from the airport or spend a night in Colombo. We can help assist with transport arrangements, just let us know what is required upon booking. You can also book an Air Taxi which runs a convenient service from Colombo's International Airport and stops in Dickwella, just a few minutes away.
